This is the website of Yeshivat Simchat Shlomo, HaGilboa 18, Nachlaot, Jerusalem. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site or register for a class, and how we use it.
Information we collect when you register for a class
When you book a class through this site, our booking system (Amelia) collects your name, email address, and phone number. We use this information to:
- Confirm your registration and hold your spot in the class
- Send you the Zoom link by email if you’re joining online
- Contact you about schedule changes or other updates related to a class you’ve registered for
This information is stored on our own website’s database. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Payment
This site does not currently process payments online. Class fees are handled separately (in person or by other arrangement). We do not collect or store any credit card or bank information through this website.
Cookies
Our booking system uses a temporary session cookie while you’re in the process of booking a class, so the system can keep track of your selections as you move through the steps. This cookie does not track you across other websites.
If you log in to the site’s administration area (staff only), WordPress sets standard login cookies to keep you signed in. These are not set for ordinary visitors browsing the site or booking a class.
Third-party services we use
A few outside services help run this site:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site (Poppins and Varela Round) are loaded from Google’s font service. Google may receive your IP address as part of loading these fonts. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google reCAPTCHA — used to help protect this site’s forms from spam and automated abuse. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Zoom — if you join a class online, you’ll be using Zoom’s service directly. Zoom’s own privacy policy applies to your use of Zoom: https://zoom.us/privacy.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other visitor-tracking or advertising service on this site.
How long we keep your information
We keep class registration records to maintain an accurate schedule and to be able to reach past attendees about classes they’ve taken. If you’d like your information removed, contact us (see below) and we will delete it, except where we need to keep a record for administrative or legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below.
Children’s privacy
Our classes are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
